Opera/Classical soprano Asuka Uchida is an internationally acclaimed performer praised for her commanding presence and expressive voice. The Metropolitan Opera Guild noted that her exceptional talent continues to open doors as she thrives as an artist in New York City.

Her operatic highlights include roles such as Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Gilda (Rigoletto), Cio-Cio-San (Madame Butterfly), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), and Adele (Die Fledermaus), performed with companies across the United States, Europe, and Canada. She has appeared as a soloist at major venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Symphony Space, Town Hall, MoMA, and The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic.

Critics have praised her performances, with the Russian Cultural Center in Kiev stating that “Ms. Uchida’s stunning presence and voice silenced the audience in a way we haven’t seen before.” Her concert repertoire includes major soprano solos such as Bach’s Magnificat, Handel’s Messiah, and Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore. She has toured internationally, performing in Europe, Japan, and the Middle East, and has sung for distinguished audiences including the Japanese Ambassador in Israel.

Beyond opera, Asuka is a versatile performer and presenter. She is a scholarship recipient of the Savannah Music Festival and has served as an international judge for global online music competitions.
