Introduction
Claire Ferrin is a content creator and freelance writer who has been covering the video game industry for over 10 years.
From 2011 to 2024 she was an active contributor to the cublikefoot YouTube channel, where her content spanned a wide spectrum of gaming genres. A particular emphasis was placed on PC games and especially those originating from Japan, areas where she offered in-depth insight and reviews.
She was known for a series called ACTUAL Game Review, where she provided straight to the point, no-nonsense reviews without holding back. This included giving each game a score on the entire 1-10 scale and not the 6-10 scale that many outlets use. She also ran another series called "Quick Review" which applied this same principle into a binary "recommended" or "not recommended" system.
