Introduction


With a decade of experience - 5+ years in leadership roles - driving campaign strategy, messaging, and art direction, David Valenzia directed communications across a variety of functional areas including branding, advertising, and interactive (display, email, search, social, and web), including the conceptual development of global, integrated campaigns. In these roles, David directly engaged with and managed teams of graphic designers, writers, content strategists, experience strategists, UX designers, interactive producers, front-end and back-end web developers, and software engineers. David challenges assumptions: an explorer, investigator, listener and adventurer ambitiously curious about the outside world. He focuses experiential design and engaging others: individual and organization engagement, motivation, and goals should be at the core of every idea. Long lasting solutions can be created with dialogue, honesty, inclusion, and hard work: exploring ideas and innovations will shape the future of design by rethinking form, function, and aesthetics. He is currently the Head of Creative Strategy for ThoughtLab, developing internal systems, marketing strategies, and client design.
