Introduction


Graduated with honors in Engineering and Architecture from the University of Perugia with the experimental thesis “Perspectives of Urban Regeneration: Public Space and Traffic Calming Strategies”, Eugenio Bini joined the International Workshop “Lisbon Expo, towards Urban Mending” within the Master’s program “Remaking Landscapes” at UPC – Lisbon, learning from renowned architects such as Gonçalo Byrne and Álvaro Siza.

He has collaborated with prominent international practices, such as Carlo Ratti Associati, where he contributed to high-profile projects including the Mutti Headquarters Masterplan, a design concept for Poste Italiane, and “Real Rio,” an interactive installation for the 2016 Olympics sponsored by Cisco Systems.

In 2023, he developed “Enel Box”, an innovative concept set to revolutionize secondary substations in the coming years. Characterized by a circular approach and maximizing digitalization capacity, the design reduces carbon footprints while blending harmoniously into urban, rural, and historical settings.This project was selected for the prestigious ADI Design Index.

A lifelong learner, he has also focused on product design and self-production. Besides his professional achievements, he is dedicated to teaching and research, actively contributing to the fields of design, visual arts, and urban planning.
