Fernando Felicio dos Santos de Carvalho is an award-winning designer, researcher and is currently the assistant professor of design at the San Francisco State University.

His diverse portfolio encompasses healthcare services, medical devices, hospital interiors, Paralympic sports accessories, civil construction equipment, signage, wayfinding, and digital solutions. Notable clients include the NHS, Memorial Hospital of South Bend, Unicef, Heineken Brewers, Kiefer, Sony Music, and the Federation of Industries of Rio de Janeiro.
His career spans teaching, research, and program coordination in diverse settings, from after-school initiatives in Rio de Janeiro's 'favelas' to craftsman training courses, including undergraduate and postgraduate programs in design and architecture across the UK, the USA, Brazil, Chile, and Portugal. His creative works have received global recognition, showcased in museums and galleries in England, Spain, Brazil, and the USA.
