Fernando Guerra

Fernando Guerra is a Portuguese architectural photographer whose work has played an influential role in how contemporary architecture is documented and communicated. Trained as an architect at Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, he later worked in Macau before founding the photography studio FG+SG in 1999. His architectural background has shaped a distinctive photographic approach that combines an understanding of space, structure, and design with strong visual storytelling.

Over more than two decades, Fernando has collaborated with leading architects including Álvaro Siza, Fran Silvestre, Márcio Kogan, Isay Weinfeld, Arthur Casas, and Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. His work has received international recognition and has been widely published across leading architecture and design publications. In 2015, the Museum of Modern Art in New York acquired six of his photographs for its permanent collection, further reflecting his contribution to contemporary architectural photography.
