Hanne Gathe is a Norwegian interior architect and Co-Founder and Creative Director of Oslo-based interior architecture studio GATHE + GRAM. A graduate of Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London, she spent 11 years in London building her international career and working with leading architecture and luxury design studios, including Foster + Partners, before returning to Norway.
Her portfolio spans luxury hospitality, high-end residential interiors, private aviation, and yachts across Norway, the UK, and the United States. Notable projects include work for Britannia Hotel and Grand Hotel Oslo, including the Nobel Suite, which was shortlisted for Best Hotel Suite at the AHEAD Awards Europe and later named Norway’s Leading Hotel Suite at the World Travel Awards. Hanne has also been a finalist for Designer of the Year at The International Design & Architecture Awards, featured in publications including Vogue Living, Livingetc, and Homes & Gardens, and selected for Phaidon’s Making Space: Interior Design by Women in 2025. Her work combines Scandinavian sensibility with an international perspective, with a strong focus on context, craftsmanship, and distinctive identity.
