Juha Vainio

Juha Vainio is Executive Producer of CONTROL Resonant and Head of the CONTROL franchise at Remedy Entertainment. He brings more than 20 years of management experience in software development and 15 years of production experience in the games industry.

In his current role, Juha leads the development team, directs the game’s creative leadership, manages the production budget, and is accountable for both the creative and commercial success of CONTROL Resonant. He joined Remedy in 2017 as Lead Producer of CONTROL, overseeing its production and release.

Previously, Juha worked at Rovio on major mobile titles including the original Angry Birds and Angry Birds Star Wars. As CEO of Epic Owl, he also led a five-person team in developing and releasing Space Arena: Build and Fight, a free-to-play mobile game that has remained commercially successful for more than a decade.
