Lenne Chai

Lenne Chai is a Los Angeles–based fashion photographer known for her vibrant, cinematic imagery and emotionally driven visual storytelling. Originally from Singapore, she began her career in 2010 and has collaborated with internationally recognized publications and brands including Vogue, Gucci, W Magazine, Esquire and Harper’s Bazaar. Her work has also appeared in leading Hollywood publications such as Billboard, Entertainment Weekly and The Hollywood Reporter.

In 2023, Lenne collaborated with acclaimed directing duo Daniels to create a Tokusatsu-inspired project featuring Jennifer Coolidge in dual roles. Influenced by her conservative upbringing, her photography explores nostalgia, identity and queer representation through imaginative reinterpretations of Singaporean culture and everyday life. Her work has been featured by BBC World News, CNN, Vogue and Dazed, and exhibited during Singapore Art Week.

Alongside her photography practice, Lenne has served as a lecturer at Stanford University, Nanyang Technological University, LASALLE College of Arts and Nanyang Academy of Arts.
