Li Sheng

Li Cheng is the Founder and CEO of Asia Design Week. Appointed postgraduate supervisor at universities including Beijing Forestry University (China) and Lincoln University (Malaysia). Vice President of the Design Asia Collective.

He leads and curates major international awards and exhibitions, including AVADA and the ASEAN–China Design Convergence Summit, bringing together designers, institutions, and cultural partners from across the region. His work has taken exhibitions to more than 50 locations across Asia through a cross-continental network spanning Asia and Europe, involving collaborators from 13 countries and regions. He also serves as Executive Editor-in-Chief of the international journal Design and Art Studies, where he helps guide scholarly dialogue in design and visual culture.

Served as jury member for over 20 internationally recognized design competitions. More than 20 academic papers published, with over 10 indexed in CSSCI, SCI, SSCI, EI, and Scopus. Additionally serves as Expert Committee Member and Publicity Chair for multiple international academic conferences.
