Mateusz Hyla

Mateusz Hyla is an Executive Producer and game production leader at 2Dstudios with experience across more than 30 titles since entering the industry in 2017. His background spans production, programming, game design, testing, research and development, and project management, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the full development pipeline.

Hyla previously served as CEO of Strategy Forge and has worked with studios including Jujubee, SUPERHOT and Dreamgrit. He has also advised investment funds on game production, managed publicly funded development initiatives, and contributes to Poland’s national working group on artificial intelligence. In 2026, he was appointed as an expert for the European Commission, where he evaluates project proposals submitted under the Creative Europe programme.

As a juror, Hyla brings a practical production perspective shaped by his experience with small and mid-sized studios. He evaluates creativity, technical execution, resourcefulness, production feasibility, innovation, and the ability of teams to deliver meaningful player experiences within real-world constraints.
