Milavkumar Shah is a tenured engineering leader with over a decade of experience in building and delivering highly scalable cloud solutions in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems. Proven track record of leading and growing groups of managers and software engineers.

At Amazon, Milavkumar led the development and launch of AWS OpenSearch Serverless and the Vector Engine for OpenSearch Serverless. These services have been instrumental in enabling customers to run search and analytics workloads at scale without the need for manual infrastructure management, significantly simplifying operations and driving innovation in machine learning (ML) and generative AI applications. During his tenure at Microsoft, Milavkumar Shah played a critical role in leading the development and launch of key verticals within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fraud Protection, a machine learning (ML)-based SaaS platform designed to protect businesses from fraud. And, prior to that Milavkumar Shah also worked in various roles at Verizon Labs, Interdigital Communications and Tata Consultancy Services.

Milavkumar is an active member of IEEE and Forbes Technology Council. He has also been invited to serve as speaker at IEEE, Springer and OpenSource conferences like OpenSearchCon. He is also a technical blogger publishing about high scale cloud systems, fraud protection, search and AI.
