Qing Dong is a pioneering designer with over 11 years of experience in multidimensional design, blending artistic innovation with commercial value. After serving as Design Director at Met Design Co., Ltd. (2016–2021), she founded YEAH TWO, one of China’s earliest and most influential design consultancies focused on integrating art with commerce across dining, fashion retail, and entertainment.
Her work has shaped landmark spaces in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, resonating strongly with Gen Z consumers and driving significant online impact. Through bold visual styles—including magical realism, cyberpunk, and future archaeology—she has crafted iconic brand experiences for clients such as Shoo Loong Kan Hotpot, ELFSACK, Kirin Dakou Tea, and Taier Chinese Sauerkraut Fish.
Dong’s scenario-based design approach merges local culture, sensory experience, and emotional resonance to create both artistic and commercially successful spaces. Notable projects include the Shoo Loong Kan Hotpot 2.0 Flagship, a new urban aesthetic landmark, and Hainanli Coconut Chicken Hotpot, where Southeast Asian and Chinese retro influences are skillfully combined.
