Introduction

Quynh Mai, Founder of Moving Image & Content, has a unique, strategic understanding of creating digital storytelling for the modern age – and how they can be organically interwoven with new technology and brand identities.

She’s been at the forefront of the merger of digital and traditional fashion and beauty advertising, working with the world’s top directors, artists, models, and celebrities in both business and creative fields. As senior vice-president of luxury agency Lipman, she helmed accounts like Burberry, David Yurman, BCBG, Diane von Furstenberg. Prior, she was an executive producer for Annie Leibovitz and an agent at Art Partner.

Having merged her traditional branding experience with the new media world of digital, she founded MI&C in 2010 bringing digital strategy and marketing to H&M, Express, Sephora, Aldo, Fendi, COTY, Bed Bath & Beyond and Ultra Music, amongst others. She has proudly led the company through 2 award-winning projects to date.

Quynh is an excellent judge because of her ability to see and apply digital as a crucial aspect of a holistic marketing program. Along with MI&C, she thinks about digital in a way that is distinctive from other digital agencies in that they truly believe every piece of content they create for different platforms or channels (OOH, social media, etc.) should be unique from each other, but should be synchronized to tell a cohesive story about the brand mean to foster personal relationships with consumers,

Quynh's work showcases her incomparable understanding of digital as she’s propelled clients into new frontiers (first facial mapping lens with Snapchat for H&M and first-ever global live stream for Kanye West). She understands that the goal for brands and their marketing programs is to ultimately become people-centric and audience-specific across all channels as part of larger-scale strategies to solve business problems and demonstrate how marketing across digital can drive ROI.

In addition, Quynh has experience judging (Effies) and understands how to apply criteria in a fair and unbiased manner to ensure that the best works of creativity are properly recognized.
