Introduction
Richard Jacques is an Ivor Novello Award-winning, Grammy- and BAFTA-nominated composer for film, television, and video games. Trained at London’s Royal Academy of Music, he is known for acclaimed scores for *Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy*, *James Bond 007: Blood Stone*, *Mass Effect*, *Overwatch 2*, and *LittleBigPlanet 2*.
His score for *Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy* won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Original Video Game Score and multiple international game music honours. He has also composed for major brands and broadcasters, including Audi, Mercedes-Benz, BBC, ITV, and Channel 4.
Jacques holds honorary doctorates from the University of Essex and the University of West London and has received the Game Audio Network Guild Lifetime Achievement Award.
