Santosh Kumar Woonna is an accomplished software engineering leader with over 15 years of international experience in building highly scalable, performant, reliable, and cost-efficient systems. Currently, he is working at Apple, where he is involved in redefining and building systems that support Apple's scale fundamental machine learning systems. Prior to his current role, worked with AWS and was instrumental in building the AWS Enterprise sales and revenue platform, which resulted in a 100% increase in sales velocity, contributing to the company's revenue growth from $45 BB (2020) to $62 BB (2021) and $80 BB (2022). Additionally, he rearchitected Amazon's core supply chain system to handle millions of requests per minute while improving peak performance by 200%. He also rearchitected Amazon's Fulfillment by Amazon Inventory platform to reduce hardware costs by 25%. Santosh has extensive experience in building end-to-end cloud-based serverless systems. Prior to Amazon, he worked for a gaming company where he scaled multiplayer game systems to handle three times the original capacity.
