Viacheslav Derzhaiev

Viacheslav Derzhaiev is a Senior Product Designer and entrepreneur whose work focuses on critical thinking education. He currently leads product design at Course Hero while continuing to develop Reasonal, the award-winning iOS app he founded.

Derzhaiev designed and built an interactive education app that teaches critical thinking through human-written, research-backed content, earning international recognition for its thoughtful, evidence-based approach to design. His entrepreneurial experience also includes co-founding Rupt, a fintech startup where he led product design and UX research, driving measurable improvements in conversion through iterative, user-centered experimentation. Building products from the ground up has given him practical insight into the full design lifecycle, from concept to launch and optimization. Earlier in his career, Derzhaiev worked in top-tier management consulting at Bain & Company and in advertising at BBDO and Leo Burnett, experience that deepens his understanding of how design decisions connect to business outcomes and brand strategy.

He has received multiple international honors for designing and developing AI-powered web platforms and mobile applications, including an iOS learning app.
