Wang Daquan

Wang Daquan is the founder of TANZO Space Design and a leading figure in China’s contemporary high-end interior architecture. He is also a cross-disciplinary artist and a pioneer in architectural design, widely recognized as a forerunner in China’s boutique hotel and commercial space design. Wang graduated from the Central Academy of Art and Design, serves as a council member of the Asia-Pacific Hotel Design Association, and furthered his expertise at Italy’s DA Design Institute and the Tsinghua Hotel Design Research Program, gaining extensive international design experience.

Since founding Tanzo Space Design in 2006, Wang has led the firm in providing comprehensive, full-spectrum spatial design services across hotels, commercial spaces, and cultural-creative environments. He has directed a series of landmark projects combining architectural aesthetics, functionality, and cultural expression.

Wang is well-equipped to evaluate design projects from multiple perspectives—including creativity, feasibility, and commercial value—offering insightful and forward-thinking guidance as a jury member.
